Chocolate Salted Caramel Hummus
Our Chocolate Salted Caramel Hummus is a guilt-free sweet and savory snack that pairs well with fresh fruit, pretzels or graham crackers. It's perfect as an after-school snack or party treat.
Ingredients:
Hummus
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- 2 tbsp Wedderspoon Manuka Honey
- 2 tbsp raw cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Salted Caramel Swirl
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp Wedderspoon Manuka Honey
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave
- 2 tsp coconut sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
- In a food processor, blend all hummus ingredients together until smooth. Transfer into a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, add salted caramel swirl ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Gently swirl caramel into the chocolate hummus and top with cocoa nibs or dark chocolate chips.
- Chill for one hour in the fridge, or 20 to 30 minutes in the freezer.
- Serve with fresh fruit, pretzels or graham crackers.
