KFactor™
MANUKA HONEY THAT LIVES UP TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS - OURS.
Everyone deserves to feel their best. That’s why we’re committed to bringing Manuka Honey to the masses in a variety of ways while setting the standard for quality on a global scale.
To ensure the authenticity of Manuka Honey, New Zealand’s Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has developed and released a standard to regulate Manuka Honey in New Zealand for worldwide export. Learn more about how we embrace the new regulation here.
KFACTOR™
Our KFactor methodology goes above and beyond the MPI regulations for Manuka Honey and is comprised of five ‘key factors’ which focus on the holistic qualities of authentic Manuka Honey. We don’t add or take away anything from our Manuka Honey – IT'S TRULY HIVE TO HOME.
KFactor 16, Monofloral Manuka, is our honey that is "wholly or mostly" from the Leptospermum scoparium (manuka) plant.
KFactor 12, Multifloral Manuka, is our honey blend that has a variety of plant sources, but has a significant amount from the Leptospermum scoparium (manuka) plant. As bees have a considerable flight distance and need variety in their diet, a honey will never be 100% one nectar source.
RAW & UNPASTEURISED
Our Manuka Honey is produced using a raw creaming process to maintain all of the naturally-occurring and beneficial wellness properties inherent in this unique functional food.
NON-GMO PROJECT VERIFIED
Our Manuka Honeys are always Non-GMO Project verified.
PRODUCED & PACKED IN NEW ZEALAND
Wedderspoon takes pride in harvesting, packaging, and labelling all jars of our Manuka Honey in New Zealand. Globally, we were the first Safe Quality Food (SQF) certified Manuka Honey facility, and still are the only Manuka Honey facility which meets the SQF certification requirements for both Food Safety and Food Quality.
FREE OF ANTIBIOTICS, GLYPHOSATE & PESTICIDES
All of our Manuka Honeys are free of antibiotics, glyphosate & pesticides, as nature intended.
TRACEABLE FROM HIVE TO HOME
All of our Manuka Honeys are traceable back to the master beekeeper who harvested and tended to the hive.
