Festival Survival Guide: Must-Haves

Festival Survival Guide: Must-Haves

So you finally managed to score tickets (and time off from work!) to attend one of the hottest festivals of the summer season. Congrats! Now what? Sometimes the planning that goes into attending a festival can be really stressful! Where to stay, what to wear, what to bring. You certainly won’t want to be lugging a heavy purse around on a hot sunny day, but, you should be well prepared. So, what should you carry in your purse?

Festival Survival Guide: Must-Haves

Lip Balm

You do not want to be out in the sun without keeping your lips moisturized. Wedderspoon Manuka Honey Lip Balm will do the trick. Stock up and share with friends.

Sunblock

Protect your skin! There’s nothing worse than coming home from an amazing weekend completely burnt.

Sunglasses

Again, it’s all about protection! Protect your eyes from those UV rays. And, look chic, of course. Make sure you pack your favorite sunnies (or two) in your purse!

Phone Charger and/or Portable Battery

This is the 21st century and most festivals provide outlets and charging stations, however, having having your own cord means you won’t have to wait your turn!

Packable Poncho

The weather can be unpredictable, and summer is the season of showers and thunderstorms. It may seem unnecessary, but when it starts down-pouring, you’ll be SO happy to have a poncho on hand.

Snacks and Drinks

It’s important to stay energized and hydrated at festivals, especially when you’re out in the heat. Wedderspoon Honey on the Go will take up virtually no space in your purse and is easy to open and snack on. Granola bars, dried fruit and snacks high in protein are also good options. Water bottles are a must, but, if you’re looking to switch it up and try something a little sweeter, Health-Ade Kombucha is a great option.

Collapsable Water Bottle

These are super handy. Many festivals have water stations where you’ll be able to fill up, and once you’re done hydrating, you can stuff these super-packable bottles into your bag.

Bandaids, Pain Killer, Aloe

You know, just in case. Nothing puts more of a damper on a day than getting a blister, sunburn or headache and not having what you need to manage it.
